The Colonsay Brewery is a hand-craft micro distillery in a remote part of Scotland. As their website states, the island sits within Scotland’s Inner Hebrides group of islands, to the south lies Islay and Jura and to the north Mull. It is accessible by boat, a two-and-a-half hour journey from Oban on the mainland.

I was pleased to have come across their products on the CalMac ferry but for anyone interested, they can also be purchased online through Royal Mile Whiskies website Drinkmonger.

It is also nice to see some familiar faces involved with this craft project, such as Keith Bonnington (pictured below).
