The founders of Falkirk Distillery embarked on a dream of building their own Lowland Whisky distillery over 10 years ago and this was finally realised in November 2020.
The company behind the distillery is owned by director George Stewart, with daughter Fiona and son Alan. The new distillery has the capacity to produce over 1 million litres of spirit per year.
The production equipment of two stills, eight washbacks and a four-tonne mash tun were originally installed in the now defunct Caperdonich Distillery in Speyside.
Falkirk Distillery Company is currently offering for sale a very limited number of Private Casks of Falkirk Distillery Company Spirit under the names of Falkirk Distillery and Cadger’s Whisky, costing from £4,600. For those interested, please contact them directly by clicking here.
