For 20 years our client has been creating award-winning, super premium/luxury, craft American whiskey. They are looking for an experienced off-premise chain leader with spirits experience to manage a select group of chains that are primarily in the liquor channel. The person can be based in either California or Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead strategy, planning, and execution for brands within selected national and regional off-premise chains. This will include the development of account business plans.
  • Create trade programming that drives velocity through high-quality execution.
  • Build strong relationships with chain decision-makers and their teams.
  • Communicate and coordinate all chain programming with appropriate field sales personnel and provide input regarding inventory management when necessary.
  • Work closely with the Trade Development Manager to deploy custom assets and coordinate in-store tastings.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities and adjust plans/strategy accordingly.
  • Develop appropriate call frequency for chains, distributor sales teams, and field sales personnel.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of spirits industry experience calling on off-premise chain buyers with a track record of success.
  • Experience selling super premium or luxury brands.
  • Experience working with spirit distributors.
  • Proficient in the use of data and fact-based selling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel
