The primary purpose of the role is to develop and implement the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) strategy for Global Travel Retail through the levers of Pricing, Promotional effectiveness, Trade Terms Strategy and Mix.

This role will help understand the current gaps, develop the strategy, and implement the RGM agenda for GTR while supporting the International and global RGM priorities. This role requires proactive collaboration with other functions in GTR and with other RGM teams in the organization while leading a diverse & remote team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Craft medium term (3 year) strategy for GTR in pricing, promotion guidelines and other RGM levers to optimize value creation for the business and develop the 1-year implementation plans.
  • Embed the 3 year strategy, supported by tools and data analytics, across all functions into their Ways of Working/ KPIs and implement the RGM review cadence & processes.
  • Develop & implement tools and formats for commercial cycle e.g. Customer segmentation, Promo analysis etc. Preparation of annual mandates, ensuring alignment to the outputs of the customer segmentation, pricing, and trade terms assessments
  • Lead the End-to-End Pricing process for the GTR for Innovations, annual Pricing revisions etc to ensure harmonisation across the business and build the Consumer Pricing Elasticity Model
  • Implement and Drive conditionality in the trade terms and track the execution to ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Develop the Promotion strategy aligned brand strategy and Implement tools for Trade Promotion Management in full across the GTR integrated with the commercial ways of working.
  • Increase volume, revenue and profitability by maximising the ROI for Beam Suntory and the customers to improve the P&L through active mix management.
  • Lead annual refresh of Pricing Targets, with analysis of market and channels as well as competitor pricing to ensure right brand architecture strategy.
  • Champion harmonization of pricing across geographies in travel retail and refresh of targets (I3N) with International RGM.
  • Be the point of contact for matters of shelf and net pricing-related, including price harmonization where necessary across domestic and travel retail channels.
  • Lead, coach and guide the diverse and remote RGM team to deliver the RGM agenda.

Qualifications

  • 7-9 years of experience in analytical roles – with 5-7 years of revenue management experience will be preferred
  • Experience of working with Gross to Net/TTC framework and ROI led TPM a must
  • Strong in building financial models and data analytics
  • Experience of Global Travel Retail or CPG industry will be preferred
  • Cross Functional Working – proven experience in working proactively across commercial functions to deliver total business performance solutions
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Management – demonstrated experience in influencing and managing multiple stakeholders across geographies, building mutually beneficial, profit-focused business relationships
  • Experience of managing a diverse and remote team will be preferred
