This role is a great opportunity to demonstrate your ability to deliver our ambitious commercial and marketing objectives, finding the right balance for building long-term brand equity and commercial value with our Distributors whilst ensuring delivery of short term financial results.

Southern Europe form part of the UK, France and Southern Europe region within the WG&S Branded Business Unit.

Main Responsibilities

Acting as the Country Manager for Portugal, Greece, Ireland and Andorra, you will build strong relationships and engagement with our Distributors and work closely with them to develop strong market & brand strategies and deliver business plans and performance promise.

You will negotiate and agree budgets & objectives with Distributors and challenge annual plans ensuring alignment with WG&S Global Brand Teams.

Building Distributors strong capabilities in the area of brand planning, outlet segmentation & prioritisation, sales & operation planning and exploring ways to optimise value chain and net revenue management will be also part of your main responsibilities.

Our Ideal Candidate

You have considerable commercial experience in FMCG sector (preferably in Spirits) with proven track records to grow business and brands in the Southern Europe region thanks to your distributor management skills. Results oriented with a “can” do attitude, you are culturally aware, able to adapt personal style as needed and you work efficiently with various internal and external stakeholders (commercial, marketing, finance and supply chain teams). You are a team player, willing to manage a range of tasks from strategic to hand on operational ones.
