  • Pernod Ricard UK, which markets, sells and distributes our products in the UK market
  • Chivas Brothers, the largest brand company in the Group, responsible for the production and management of our award-winning Scotch whisky portfolio
  • Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, the global and EMEA home of the group’s duty free, air travel and cruises business.


We are an organisation of 2,000 employees in the UK, headquartered in London, in a brand-new office designed with sustainability, ‘conviviality’ and collaboration in mind. We also have offices in Scotland and various distilleries and production sites across the UK from Plymouth to London to Speyside.


Your new team

This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.



Your unique contribution

You will have 6 main areas of responsibility:


VIP hosting – Build strong rapport with VIPs, HNWI and key opinion leaders and develop lasting relationships through whisky mentorship. Inspire audiences through excellent level of storytelling, education, and convivial hosting in our home of Scotch whisky.


Brand Education and Mentoring –Act as brand and company spokesperson in press, broadcast and events. Inspire audiences through charisma, charm and knowledge to create Scotch whisky advocates all over the world.


VIP relationship and luxury business development – Drive commercial success of luxury programmes. Develop world class network of VIPs, engage the network across Chivas Brothers’ Prestige whisky brands.


Brand Management and insight – Be the expert voice on Scotch whisky providing industry knowledge and insight.


Social Media – Develop and manage a high-profile social media presence to target consumers, influencers, key contacts, and opinion leaders.


Measurement and reporting – Create monthly report for internal circulation on brand ambassador activities detailing project and overseas work, impact, key learnings and insights.

Your blend of talent

This position could be right for you if you:

• Have extensive experience at a senior level in the Scotch whisky industry

• Have authenticity and credibility to represent Chivas Brothers’ Prestige whisky to the highest level

• Can commit to travelling regularly within the UK and overseas.

• Are an excellent public speaker and can influence key stakeholders internally and externally.

• Are a self-confident, outgoing individual who actively enjoys building strong relationships and is a strong networker.

• Are a self-starter who takes initiative to make things happen – entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, a ‘can do’ attitude.

• Highly active and engaging on social media.

• Have an ability to work unsocial hours including evenings and weekends.

• Have a responsible attitude and approach towards alcohol.

• Have a full, UK clean driving licence.
