Our client is a super-premium spirits producer and distributor with ambitious plans to drive growth and success across Europe and other key markets with its award-winning brands, exceptional customer service and dynamic consumer engagement.

Fluid Fusion is searching for an established senior sales professional with strong credentials in premium drinks brands and exposure to developing and managing customers in the On Trade, Off Trade channels and drinks distributors across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Development of sales strategy, growing brand visibility, volume, and profitability within the assigned region in off-trade and on-trade channels.
  • Lead annual and operational sales business planning within the territory.
  • Full execution of the sales strategy to increase sales and meet the company’s targets and KPIs, thus achieving the sales plan.
  • Lead and manage negotiations with key HoReCa accounts within the region, building relationships with key partners/customers.
  • Pricing and discount management, target setting, and profitability planning.
  • Take charge of annual and operational sales business planning initiatives within the region, ensuring alignment with overarching corporate objectives and market dynamics.
  • Managing the relationships between distributors, partners, and clients.
  • Full P&L management.
  • Actively search and identify new business partners/customers within the territory.
  • Active participation in the preparation of annual Brand/Marketing plans for the customers with the global marketing team.
  • Active participation in the implementation of global marketing campaigns, owning responsibility for delivering all marketing programs in accordance with Brand Guidelines; Initiating and managing events.
  • Full control and coordination of all other key marketing activities within the area (exhibitions, on-trade POSM development and distribution, and other image projects).
  • Develop and implement on/off-trade incentive programs, promo activations, and branding projects in the key accounts.
  • Creation of all local reporting, quarterly marketing reports, monthly sales reports with practical insights, 1/2 yr review, FY sales planning and funds contribution, control of fulfilment to agreed.


  • Excellent knowledge of key accounts across sales channels including Off-Trade and On-Trade within Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
  • Strong experience in international drinks sales, partner management and development of premium drinks brands (ideally spirits)
  • Higher education, preferably in Economics or Marketing.
  • Fluent in German as well as excellent verbal and written English is essential.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent networking and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of marketing/trade marketing area.
  • Ability and willingness to frequent business trips within the German-speaking region
  • Ability to learn, work and develop in a fast-changing & dynamic environment.

Candidates must be based and eligible to work in Germany for this opportunity and will ideally be based in, or accessible to, one of the main German cities (i.e., Berlin, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Leipzig or Stuttgart)
