We’re beer lovers with 40-years combined drinks industry experience who became frustrated that there wasn’t a perfect post-run pint out there… so we made our own.

Our ambition is to lead the better-for-you revolution in the £21 billion UK beer market, bringing the UK in line with other similar markets where better-for-you beer already accounts for a huge portion of the category (USA market share = 47%, Australia market share = 25%, UK market share = under 4%).

We started pouring Local in 2023 & are selling in some of the finest venues across the capital.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver: Delivering against the company’s sales targets for the On-Trade channel in London
  • Account Management: Building close relationships is crucial. We want you to be on hugging terms with your account contacts… or at least know the name of their children.
  • Business Development: Building relationships with new customers, growing our distribution with the absolute best venues throughout London
  • Drivers: Devising & delivering brilliant category & customer activation plans that sell more beer.
  • Representing the brand: Finding fun and creative ways to grow the brand
  • Team Support: This is a start-up, we all wear many hats. You’ll get involved in many different areas of the business. All hands on deck!
  • Expertise: We don’t want beer bores, we want people who love people, hospitality and love learning about the industry.

Qualifications

We’re looking for easy-going, confident people who enjoy the hustle required to thrive in a start-up. You are positive & ambitious. You offer solutions, not problems. You’ll fuck up, like we all do, but you’ll bounce right back. You’re entrepreneurial & don’t always need to be told what to do. You love people. You’re commercially savvy & know your way around an excel spreadsheet.
