The UK Head of Field Sales leads, motivates, develops and manages a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) to deliver brand and commercial objectives across the on trade with a focus on independent free trade and small managed retail groups within priority geographies. They actively contribute towards the development and implementation of the on-trade sales strategy. They exploit data-led routing, capability development, on trade segmentation and reporting routines to accelerate growth and ROI from their channel. They co-ordinate with the commercial team cross functionally to deliver brand building dominance in identified geographies across all trade channels and appropriate media touchpoints. They will develop a market-leading team, ensuring the best performance tracking is in place to continually improve effectiveness. The role reports to the UK Sales Director.
UK Head of Field Sales
- Deliver a market-leading field sales team within the UK on-trade.
- Lead, motivate, develop and manage a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) to deliver brand and commercial objectives across the on trade with a focus on independent free trade and small managed retail groups within priority geographies.
- Contribute to the development and on going optimisation of the on-trade sales strategy.
- Identify, lead and deliver on trade commercial projects through their team and the cross-functional commercial team.
- Recommend and exploit data sources and market segmentation to optimise business unit effectiveness and ROI.
- Develop and manage reporting routines and systems to accelerate growth and ROI from their business unit.
- Work with the commercial team cross-functionally to deliver brand and customer objectives across the UK and within priority geographies.

5+ years excellent sales experience, development, skills and demonstrable results.
Previous field sales team management and demonstrable results.
Ability to travel throughout the UK and willingness to work non- traditional hours (evenings) to see brand activity in customer venues.
Good MS Excel and PowerPoint Skills and competence in manipulating data
