As Head of Category Experience (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of category-specific product range strategies in order to stage spectacular product ranges and unforgettable experiences in the stores.
In particular, you will

  • optimize the cooperation between Purchasing, Sales and Marketing to ensure the performance of the responsible luxury food category
  • take responsibility for the strategic development of the category across all channels, taking into account current trends and customer needs
  • ensure the further development of the product range strategy and management of the results in the markets, taking into account market, consumer and channel requirements
  • identify global potential in existing and new categories by analyzing customer and trend data
  • work closely with internal and external stakeholders to effectively cover all aspects of tender management
  • be responsible for the disciplinary and technical management of a department and the further development of employees
  • make decisions with a high level of budget responsibility and adapt established procedures to achieve the defined targets


What you should bring along
  • Business administration degree with Master’s/Diploma degree or comparable qualification
  • At least 4-6 years of professional experience, ideally in an international retail company
  • Preferably experience in leading a team
  • Sound knowledge of the responsible category of luxury foods
  • Business fluent in English, ideally additional foreign language skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of management and coordination skills with regard to cross-departmental cooperation
  • Willingness and awareness to manage competencies, promote knowledge development and set standards
