The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Grocery NAM to join the team at Lucky Saint as we continue our mission to become the world’s defining alcohol-free beer. In this role you will be managing some of our most important and biggest off trade accounts, building exceptional relationships with our customers and helping Lucky Saint outpace the competition and grow the category.

Our founder, Luke Boase, launched Lucky Saint in late 2018 with an ambition to change the perception of alcohol-free beer and the drinking experience, worldwide. Since the launch of our 0.5% Superior Unfiltered Lager, Lucky Saint has become the UK’s #1 dedicate alcohol free brand, won The Grocer’s Gold Award for Drinks Brand of the Year in 2023, receiving widespread support and appreciation from top industry professionals, the UK’s best operators, and the media.
A day in the life in this role: start the day by meeting one of your key customers to sell in commercial and activation plans to make Dry January 2024 the biggest yet both in store and online. This could be followed by you leading catch ups across the business with supply, category and marketing as they help you prepare to land your exciting plans. You could then stop for a bite to eat in The Lucky Saint Pub and a stroll around Regent’s Park before heading off to an industry event where you’re representing Lucky Saint and are an expert and ambassador for the world of No and Low. You finish up the day with a few store visits to see what’s new in store and write an engaging post on Linkedin about the event you attended to help drive awareness of the category and Lucky Saint within your growing network.
Salary Range: £45k – £50k
Key Responsibilities:
- Account management: Manage some of our key customers in Grocery and Convenience
- Growth: Deliver growth that will outpace the market and our competition
- Relationships: Create and maintain exceptional relationships with customers and internal functions
- Leadership: Lead internal cross functional workings alongside Category, Supply, Marketing, Finance
- Joint business plans: Build JBPs that excite our customers and deliver sustainable growth for our customers and Lucky Saint
- New customers and avenues for growth: Strive to open up exciting new customers within the Grocery and Convenience landscape.
- Ownership and accountability: Of your customer P&Ls
Who you are:
- Experience: You have at least 2 years’ experience within FMCG and have already managed National Accounts
- Curiosity: You are a brilliant listener, who seeks to understand more about our retailers and how we can help them win
- Tenacity: You never give in; you find a way to win in the right way and don’t stop at the first no
- Accountability: You thrive on accountability, are empowered to lead and own your customers
- Commercials: You have brilliant commercial understanding of the PandL and know how to sell and negotiate like a pro (ideally trained in Sales and Negotiation – GAP, Sentinel etc)
- Devil in the detail: You have an eye for detail and are experienced at accurate forecasting
- Category: You understand category data and can create compelling category-based sell ins
- Adaptable: You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can juggle competing priorities
- Rapport: You can build excellent rapport with customers and colleagues to help build trust and achieve outstanding results
- Story telling: You can simplify complex messages into a clear, concise, exciting story
- You are passionate about the Low and No/alcohol sector and helping the world drink better
