Company Description Opius Distillery draws inspiration from alchemy, reviving historic techniques and interpreting ancient manuscripts to craft distinctive alcohol-free spirits. Using a unique method, the team extracts primal essences from botanicals known to stimulate the mind and body. Under the guidance of Master Distiller Prof. Dr. B. Sas, Opius creates three mood-enhancing spirits from carefully selected botanicals and spices. Each batch is limited to 200 handcrafted bottles, produced with precise control over temperature and timing. The result is a complex yet balanced flavor profile with a unique body and after-bite, designed for those seeking refined, alcohol-free experiences.
Role Description The Brand Ambassador role at Opius Distillery is a contract, on-site position based in New York, NY. This role involves representing the brand at tastings, events, and in-store activations, while educating customers and partners about Opius’ alcohol-free spirits and their unique production methods. The Brand Ambassador will engage directly with guests, offer product samples, answer questions, and share key brand messages in a clear and compelling way. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and breaking down event stations, maintaining a professional and welcoming presence, gathering customer feedback, and supporting local marketing initiatives. The individual in this role will also collaborate with sales and marketing teams to help drive brand awareness and ensure consistent brand representation across all touch points.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to create positive, memorable experiences.
- Demonstrated brand ambassadorship and brand awareness skills to represent Opius Distillery consistently and authentically.
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication and confident public speaking.
- Experience in hospitality, retail, food and beverage, or spirits (including alcohol-free) environments is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
- Professional, reliable, and self-directed, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfort with basic reporting, such as event recaps, customer feedback, and sales influence metrics.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; age-appropriate for serving and sampling beverages per local regulations.
Compensation
- Stipend per month based on accounts visited and activation done
- Bonus potential based on new business won
