ABOUT DISTRIBUTIONS SPIRITS COMPANY (DISC)

We specialize in the sales, distribution, and marketing of premium spirits and wines in the Caribbean, Central America, and the Americas Travel Retail Channel. Our premium and comprehensive portfolio consist of global spirits companies including Edrington, Sazerac, Ian Macleod Distillers, and Amber Beverage Group, amongst other premium independent brands.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales performance across Caribbean markets. This role is pivotal in managing distributor relationships, executing sales strategies, and supervising marketing/brand activities. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the Caribbean region, a proven track record in sales/commercial management, and knowledge of the spirits sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Distributor Management:

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors across the Caribbean.

· Monitor and evaluate distributor performance to ensure alignment with company and brand growth goals and objectives.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

· Create and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Caribbean market by category/brand.

· Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring consistent achievement and growth.

· Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed on market trends and competitor activities.

· Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.

Customer Relationship Management:

· Develop and nurture strong relationships with key accounts and customers in the region.

· Address customer needs and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

· Organize and participate in promotional events, trade shows, and other marketing activities to enhance brand presence.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum of 3 years of sales/marketing experience in the spirits industry, with a focus on distributor management.

· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

· Deep understanding of Caribbean market dynamics.

· Knowledge of the spirits industry, including product types, trends, and competitive landscape.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

· Proficiency in English and Spanish.
