What the opportunity looks like:

Reporting to the National Account Manager and part of a dynamic and highly successful team, you will be responsible for driving Distribution, Visibility and Activation (DVA) standards across existing Wholesale customers. You will agree visibility and activation with the Buyers and implement those agreements in line with agreed standards by segment within budget. You will also be responsible for helping to establish lasting partnerships, as well as getting out and about in the market to establish product quality and understand the customer’s vision. You will have a clear understanding within Off Trade route to market (RTM) and develop strong working relationships. This role will require you to be both an account manager and brand manager with the ability to manage sales relationships at a senior level and to be an educator, personifying the brands and bringing them to life.

  • Manage a call file of Wholesale customers, servicing multiple Retailers.
  • Negotiation and implementation of Channel Plans across Wholesalers including day to day management and problem solving.
  • Responsible for providing reports/information on account base as required and requested keeping NAM and relevant stakeholders informed in line with business needs.
  • Creating and developing links with future partners, maintaining current relationships and maximising engagement.
  • Drive distribution on Whyte and Mackay brands across all Wholesale Customers.
  • Become an ambassador for our brands carrying out engaging training and education sessions where appropriate.

Skills and experience that will help you be a success:

For this role we’re looking for:

  • Experience of managing large scale accounts, building Joint Business Plans (JBP) and pricing builds.
  • Previous experience in an Account Manager role within the Off-Trade RTM would be an advantage but not essential. We are looking for someone who has a passion to learn about our brands.
  • Demonstrable experience of building strong authentic stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication along with active listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Full current driving license.

We believe that everyone has the potential for growth in our roles! You may feel you don’t tick every box for this role, but if you believe you have relevant experiences that could help you succeed we’d much rather you apply rather than rule yourself out based on any self-limiting beliefs!

Why join us:

We offer a competitive salary, bonus package, Health Care Cash Plan, life assurance, competitive pension, excellent product allowance, 35 days annual leave, plus enhanced family friendly policies.

Now is time to join the Whyte and Mackay Community!
