The online retailer has launched their own gin this week for £24.99 in the UK and also available to purchase in France, Germany, Spain and Italy. This is apparently only the first spirit product of many it plans to launch in the market.

Tovess Gin comes from a distillery on the outskirts of Birmingham, West Midlands in England. The copper pot stills used for production are among some of the oldest in the country according to Amazon and the product has a 41.5% ABV offering a Mediterranean taste with “fruity notes in delicate harmony, leaving a lasting fresh taste on the palate”.
To complement the flavours, its makers recommend serving it over ice with tonic and a garnish of grapefruit, cucumber or lime.

The liquid is understood to being contract distilled for the retailer by Alcohols Ltd, a major industrial spirits and chemicals supplier, at its factory in the West Midlands, where it owns four 100-year-old copper pot stills at Langley Distillery.
